Oct. 21, 2013–Dreams in the Night

dreaming“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17)

Many times as I prophesy over people the Lord shows me that He is about to speak to them in an increased way through visions and dreams.  This is often received with tears by many of the people who hear it.

I remember when I first started telling people that I had dreams of heaven, Jesus and angels, some thought I was crazy.  I even had leaders around me say that perhaps that I was talking about my dreams too much.  This will happen, but it is not only biblical to have dreams and visions (Acts 2:17) but it is also biblical to speak about what you have seen (Matthew 10:27).

Visions and dreams are a communication form that God uses to speak into our hearts.  When I see something in a dream or vision, it solidifies my understanding of what God‘s word says.

In a dream one time I saw a number of books.  I picked up one book that had a scripture verse on its spine. It was John 8:36 which says, “He who the son sets free is free indeed.”

When I woke up I went to the Bible and read that scripture.  The truth of it sank deep into my heart and became a life verse.  I know that I am set free because God showed it to me in a vision and dream and then confirmed it in His word.

We know God’s voice by what it produces in us.  For me His voice always comes with peace and joy.  There are times that He warns me and corrects me, but when I come into agreement with what He says, my heart returns to peace.  Even if I must repent at the correction of the Lord, I am happy because He knows what is best for my life.

So dreams and visions become vehicles that God uses to strengthen His people.  They are also used to give you direction and understanding.  He will even communicate to you in dreams about the fears that you have deep in your heart.  He does this so that He can heal you of those fears.

God directed Joseph to go into Egypt with Mary and the baby Jesus.  He warned the magi not to go back to Herod after they saw the Christ Child.  He directed Paul into Macedonia through a dream.  He showed Peter that the gospel was to spread to the Gentiles through a vision.

Dreams and visions are powerful tools that God uses to touch lives deeply and reveal destiny.  I am always asking God to speak to me through them.  I believe that God doesn’t mind us asking Him for a dream or a vision.  We should desire this Godly form of communication.  It is supernatural and shows us that God is real.  When we encounter God through a dream and vision it strengthens our faith, so begin to call out to Him to strengthen you in this way.

I know that my life has never been the same since I started to have God dreams.  There is no way I can doubt that He is real.  He speaks to me often and His voice is good.

I pray that you will begin to experience Him in greater ways as you sleep during the night.

Oct. 20, 2013–Marching into the Promises of God

crossing the Jordan“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

A whole generation of Israelites perished in the desert because they were not courageous to believe that God had ordained for them to inherit the Promised Land.  When Joshua and Caleb spied out that land they saw that it was filled with abundance and they believed that God would be with them as they entered in to take that land.

But there were 10 other spies who just did not believe that they could take the land because of the giants that were in it.  Because of this, a generation wandered in the desert for 40 years until unbelief could be purged out of a nation.

When Joshua went into the land to take it God promised that he would be with him and Joshua believed God and took the land.  Yes, he had to fight his way into that land, defeating the enemy as he went, but the promise of God was that he would win the battle and he did.

As they marched around the walls of Jericho, which might seem to be a very unlikely military tactic, the walls came tumbling down and the renown of the Israelites’ God went out into all of Canaan and the Israelites took the land.

Many of us wrestle with unbelief in the face of the promises of God.  There are many times that I write a statement on Facebook like “God is going to defeat the obstacles in your life,” and people will respond with a very defeated, “Well, I hope so.”

This is not faith.  Faith rises up in the face of the obstacles and the enemy’s lies and proclaims the truth of what God has spoken.  No matter what comes against faith, faith understands the truth of God’s word and that it is impossible for God to lie.  Faith will take great steps toward every word of the Lord that has been spoken because it knows that it will overcome by the word of the Lord.

Do you have promises that have been spoken over your life by God?  Can you feel the truth of those promises deep within your being?  Have you been wandering in the wilderness of dissatisfaction and fear?  God has a day for you and it is called “now,” so prepare yourselves for more.

But more sometimes comes with a price.  Many people want things to be handed to them on a silver platter, but this is not the way God seems to work.  He makes us step into the direction of His promises and says, “The path before you may be difficult and the enemy may seem to be strong, but I am with you and together we will defeat his plans for your life.”

All you have to do is step into the Jordan, and then march around Jericho.  You must step into the place that God has said to go and as you do victory is not only certain but most assuredly yours.

I pray that you will have the strength to believe God in the face of your obstacles.  I pray that God will embolden you to believe that you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.  May the Lord bless you with a new hope and word in this hour.  Get ready for more!

Oct. 19, 2013–The Power of a Unified Church

fish net“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:20-21)

When your heart is as much for my church as mine is for yours, then I believe we will see a greater outpouring of God’s Spirit upon the churches.

I remember one time meeting a young man in one of my meetings many years ago in Korea.  This young man had a great talent for music ministry.  I said to him that he would be a great asset to the man that I was working with in Korea, but then this great pride came over him as he began to state that he wouldn’t work with this man because his own church was the greatest church in all Korea.

This kind of pride is not of God.  When we put pride in our church and our ministry above our God, we are actually living in idolatry, because the Kingdom of God is greater than any one person’s church.

The building up of our own church should not be our main goal in ministry.  That is small thinking.  We need to be ambassadors of the Kingdom pointing people to Jesus Christ every day of our lives.  We should not be worried about where they go to church.

I have led people to Christ who decided that my church was not the place for them.  I have learned to be fine with this.  Perhaps another church is the place where they will blossom and grow in their lives.

In fact it is impossible for me to actually pastor everybody that I have led to Christ.  I cannot counsel all of them.  There are too many of them.  I have to trust that the Holy Spirit is able to keep them and sanctify them and train them.

It is going to take every church working together to bring in the harvest that is coming.  My church and your church are the same church.  We are all a part of the bride of Christ.  We must walk in unity.

One of the words that comes often in this hour is how God is forming a net to bring in the fishes.  I don’t know if you have ever seen fishing nets.  I am from Newfoundland where fishing was a big part of our culture.  Fishing nets are made up of many little squares that are knotted together.  Fishing nets may have as many as a thousand knots, but each knot is important.  If one knot breaks some fish might get away.  If many knots break the entire harvest might be lost.

Each church is a knot in the net and each church is important.  We cannot give up on one church but we must pray that they will become one like Jesus and the Father are one.  As we become one with each other and care for each other and prefer one another this harvest will come in and each church will experience salvations and movements of the Holy Spirit.

I can see it in my heart–thousands of churches worshipping at the same time in different locations and each one worshipping in their own way Jesus Christ as Lord.  They may not sound the same or look the same.  It doesn’t matter.  What matters is that Jesus is lifted high.

I pray that you will receive this vision today and that you will begin to pray for the great outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit upon all the churches.

Oct. 18, 2013–Running like the wind

run like the wind“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” (Colossians 3:23)

I am convinced that if we really believed that the Lord was watching everything we did, we would work with more austerity and with much rigour, especially if you had a glimpse of the reward that you might receive as a result.

As we diligently work for the Lord, He will always reward us.  One of the greatest rewards that I can even imagine is His very presence in my life.  When I seek Him and work for Him with all my heart He is there in the midst of my experience.  He loves me and cares for me so tenderly.

It is because His eye is always on me that I work so diligently.  I know that He is watching because He has shown me so.  There have been a number of times that I have had dreams and visions where I saw God’s eye or His hand on my life.  When you know that His hand is on your life you want to work to please Him.

2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

As we work for the Lord, He strengthens us.  The Holy Spirit comes upon our lives and invigorates us to move forward with greater energy and vitality than we can even imagine.  I am convinced that I am here working for the Lord until the He determines that I should go home to glory or until He returns.  Death is not something I fear in any part of my life.  Every part of my life is resurrected in Christ and because of this I will be more fruitful than the average man.

I want you to get this into your spirit.  Don’t compare your fruitfulness with someone who is dead because of sin.  Don’t compare your life to a sinner.  A saint can do much more than a sinner could ever do because he is more alive.

God’s hand is on my life and I can work and do much more than an average person because He is strengthening me.  This is not about me but about God’s spirit within me.  This is not pride but true life.

Many times people will comment about all that I have done or seem to be doing but truly what I have accomplished so far is nothing compared to what I will accomplish because it is not me who lives but Christ who lives within me.  I can do more than the average man because the average man is dead and not alive.  In Christ I am alive and can do all things He commands me to do.

My prayer is that the words that I am trying to say to you will sink in.  You will accomplish in this life what the Lord determines you shall accomplish and if you work with vigoUr believing that He will strengthen you then He will strengthen you.

I can prophesy over hundreds of people in one week because His spirit works within me.  I can paint 5 paintings in three hours because His spirit is working within me.  I can write a book in three or four days because His spirit is at work within me and this is not by my own strength alone, but by the very breath of God breathing life into me and invigorating me to His service.

God wants to release supernatural energy into your lives today.  I command the winds of the Spirit to blow over your life in this hour like they did in the valley of dry bones and may you rise a mighty warrior with supernatural strength to accomplish great things for the Lord.

Oct. 17, 2013–God Is Able

Darren close-upAnd God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).

The world around us is looking darker than ever. The economy right now doesn’t look good. The United States is wrestling with debt levels never before seen.  Their Congress and Senate are trying to work out a deal to raise the Debt Ceiling – really a plan to pile debt on more debt. At the time of writing, there is a government shutdown in the United States.  We are seeing wars and plans for wars in other parts of the world, and yet those that are in Christ Jesus have nothing to be concerned about because His hand is upon our lives.

I was in Texas about three weeks ago and in one of our meetings a gold nugget manifested on one of the pews.  In that moment wealth seemed so easy to be acquired in my mind.  I began to understand that God is able to provide all my needs according to His riches in glory.  I wasn’t worried about what my bank account might say.  I understood that God knows where all the wealth of the earth is hidden and is able to get that wealth to me when I need it.

Many of us are going through a time of lack.  I know many people right now that I have been praying for that are seemingly in financial trouble in the world’s eyes.  They are not paying their bills or they don’t have enough to do what God has called them to do.

If you are in this position, I would just say to you “rest in the Lord.”  He is more than able to make all grace abound to your life.  In the midst of the lack, know that God is going to supply your need according to his riches in glory.  There is nothing that the enemy can do for long that will stop the flow of God’s resources into your life.

This is something that I know in the core of my being.  I know that God is my provider and that He not only wants to provide for my day-to-day needs but He wants me to be wealthy so that I might be able to do the Kingdom work He has called me to do.

Therefore I know that any present lack in my life will never last.  In fact breakthrough is always around the corner.  Even in the face of the debt that I carry God is able to restore wealth to me.  I am not afraid of money and the enemy knows it.  I make plans based on vision and not on what is in my bank account.

When vision hits my heart I might wonder how the money will come to take care of the vision but I don’t allow that thought to stop me from moving towards it.  This year I have learned much in the way of faith and money.  I have done so many events for the Kingdom and each one of these events did cost money and yet every penny that I needed did come in.  For this I am truly thankful.

I know my God in a new way.  I know him as a God of abundance and not lack.  As you advance toward your destiny, I pray today that you will be stretched to live generously even in the face of many obstacles.

Oct. 16, 2013–A Son is holy because of his family line

Son-022-holyfamilyline(Be blessed by this DWOD for Oct. 16, 2013 by guest blogger, Barry Adams who celebrates the 31st anniversary of his marriage today. Congratulations!)

Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers (Hebrews 2:11).

In 1 Peter 1:15-16, we read the following exhortation: But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

If we look at this command to ‘be holy as God is holy’ in our own natural abiility, we will most certainly feel completely overwhelmed. For in our hearts we know that the truth is, no matter how good we can try to be, it is simply not possible to live up to God’s standards in our human effort.

James says that if we keep all of the law every day of our lives and just make one tiny mistake, it is as if we have broken the entire law. (James 2:10) The road to holiness is definitely not based upon on our natural ability.

Romans 3:10 clearly tells us that there is no one who is righteous…not one. I think that I would be safe to say that in most Christian circles, we would agree that holiness is not produced from our own actions but on Christ and on His shed blood alone. Hebrews 10:10 tells us: “And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

While we may all agree that Hebrews 10:10 is a theological truth, how does it work out in our lives on a day to day basis? Do we live each day knowing that we are completely loved and accepted by God no matter what we do? Do we live knowing that there is nothing in all creation that can separate from His love even when we mess up? Do we know at the very deepest part of our being that there is nothing that we could ever do to make God love us more than He does right now? Do we truly believe that that we are holy even as Jesus is holy even when we fall down?

If you are anything like me, you may struggle to believe that these things are true from time to time. Maybe it is easier to believe that I am holy on the good days when I read my Bible, pray and maybe witness to others. But what about on the bad days? When I am discouraged, fearful and not full of faith, do I believe that I am still absolutely loved and set apart for His purposes at these dark and lonely times?

The remnant of the orphan heart in us struggles to believe that the love of God and His extravagant grace and mercy are more than enough. The orphan part of our belief system that has not yet surrendered to love still believes that we have to do something in order to be accepted. After all, an orphan does not carry within themselves a sense of where they come from and who they belong to.

I know that this is a poor example, but our son Steve will always be an ‘Adams’. He was born into our family and will carry our name no matter what he does in life. He didn’t do anything to earn being part of our family, he was simply born into it.

I think this is but a shadow of what it means to be born into the family of God. When we become born again, we inherit everything good that is in God’s family—Jesus’ holiness, His righteousness, His relationship with God… everything!

To walk in holiness is not to live by a set of do’s and don’ts in our lives, but to simply live out of the spiritual DNA that God has already deposited in us by His Holy Spirit. We are His kids! We are holy because He is holy! Not because we could do anything to ever earn it, deserve it or sustain it.  I believe that our God and Father wants to love all of the remaining orphan beliefs right out of us and convince us that the shed blood of Jesus is enough. Period.

Dear friend, I pray that you will know that God already sees us as holy because of your union with His firstborn.

Oct. 15, 2013–Beware of the False Lover

beware(Be blessed by this DWOD for Oct. 15, 2013 by guest blogger, Os Hillman)

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Ps 30:5).

When a measured assault enters our life we often respond in two different ways. The pain caused by the assault drives us to a place of either embracing the pain or we embrace anything that will make us feel better. That becomes the entry door to a false lover. Men and women each seek to avoid pain in different ways. Larry Crabb has summarized these two unique strategies often used to avoid deep pain:

All of us are trapped by addiction to a desire for something less than God. For many women, that something less is relational control. “I will not be hurt again and I will not let people I love be hurt. I’ll see to it that what I fear never happens again.” They therefore live in terror of vulnerably presenting themselves to anyone and instead become determined managers of people. Their true femininity remains safely tucked away behind the walls of relational control.

More common in men is an addiction to non-relational control. “I will experience deep and consuming satisfaction without ever having to relate meaningfully with anyone.” They keep things shallow and safe with family and friends and feel driven to experience a joy they never feel, a joy that only deep relating can provide. Their commitment is twofold: to never risk revealing inadequacy by drawing close to people and, without breaking that commitment, to feel powerful and alive. Power in business and illicit sex are favorite strategies for reaching that goal.

(Shattered Dreams, Waterbrook Press, Colorado Springs, CO 2001, p.95)

Many times we seek to deal with our pain through various forms of addictions designed to resolve the inner pain we feel. All addictions represent a counterfeit desire for genuine love and intimacy. We conclude these lesser desires are legitimate needs instead of Band-Aids of our fleshly soul. These addiction lovers become isolation chambers created for ourselves designed to mask our pain.

Every human being has a desire to be loved. When we do not feel loved because of some event in our lives we seek to reconcile this emotional pain. So, if you are fighting any kind of addiction–over control of people, sex, drugs, alcohol, workaholism, shopping, overeating–you are seeking to fill a void only God can fill.

Pain has a useful purpose in our lives. Facing it, rather than medicating it, allows us to move to a place of discovering a capacity for a different kind of joy. That is the purpose of pain. We must let inner pain do its work by experiencing it fully.

It feels like a contradiction to actually embrace the pain, but it is the only remedy for moving past it so it can yield its purpose in our lives. Otherwise we will remain unaware of our deeper desire for God and be driven toward a false lover.

Oct. 14, 2013–Two-Pronged Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVINGI urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.(I Timothy 2:1)

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you.(Romans 1:8)

Although it happened nearly 20 years ago, the impression it left upon me remains fresh as though it were yesterday.

The Aguilar family, recent immigrants to Canada from Guatemala, had invited me for dinner. Language was a barrier for the parents, but thanks to the children, we were able to communicate quite well.

Being devout Catholics, they all crossed themselves before we started eating, while I performed the Protestant equivalent by simply bowing my head and saying a silent grace.

The food was delicious. Juana was truly a great cook. Everyone ate to their hearts’ content, spiced with lots of banter in between bites. It was indeed a very enjoyable experience.

Right after we finished the meal, something very unusual happened. The children gathered in a semi-circle around the table and said something in Spanish in perfect unison.

Most of the few words they uttered were totally unintelligible to me. However I did catch the first word: “Gracias.” I knew they were saying “Thank you”…but, for what?

Spying the puzzled look on my face, Guillermo proceeded to explain that they were thanking their mother for the meal. I was even more astounded to hear that this was not reserved for special occasions when Mama prepares an extraordinary meal. It was a daily occurrence.

Wow!

At every meal, they not only thanked God for the blessing of food, but also the hands that prepared it. No wonder they seemed to be a happy family all the time.

Paul has sometimes been described as “the apostle of thanksgiving.” Rightly so. Here are just a couple of samples from the epistles where he either gives thanks or exhorts us to give thanks.

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service.”(I Timothy 1:18)

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (I Thessalonians 5:18)

Did you notice that Paul’s thanksgiving is two-pronged?

On the one hand, he thanks God for what he has received personally. On the other hand, he also thanks God for others in his life.

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Every available member of the Sam clan is gathering at my parents’ place for a special celebration. Similar gatherings are happening all over our land this weekend. When we gather together as family, we are reminded once again how blessed we are to have one another.

We here at www.destinywordoftheday.com are thankful for the grace of God that has helped us release revelations every our day for one whole year as of Dec. 10. Darren Canning and I are grateful to God for His grace which has kept the revelations coming!

We also thank God for friends who have contributed posts whenever we have needed someone to step in and give us a break.

Most of all, we are extremely thankful to you, our subscribers, for receiving them graciously, commenting occasionally, encouraging us frequently and spurring us to keep on going.

Would you also make Two-Pronged Thanksgiving part and parcel of your daily walk? You may be inspired by the Aguilar family to follow a similar ritual of thanksgiving at every meal. You may wish to embrace the practice of keeping a Thanksgiving Journal.

Please share with the rest of your DWOD family how the Lord leads you in this area? May thanksgiving be an integral part of your life as you advance towards your destiny.

Oct. 13, 2013–If you want to raise the dead…

(Guest blogger Lance Wallnau provides the DWOD for Sept. 21, 2013…be blessed!)

IF YOU WANT TO RAISE THE DEAD…

If you want to raise the dead, you need to put some people out of the room.

When Jesus was called upon to raise a young girl from the dead, the environment was not conducive to what He wanted.

But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.(Mark 5:40-42)

Once the right people were with Him, He raised Jairus’ daughter back to life.

Sometimes Jesus raised the dead in public, but in this situation He took control of the pessimistic atmosphere by making sure the right people were with Him.

This lesson was not lost on Peter. When he was summoned to pray for a beloved women, Tabitha, who had died, “Peter sent them ALL OUT of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, ‘Tabitha, get up.’ She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.”(Acts 9:40)

For those who operate in this realm, faith and unbelief are conditions that affect the atmosphere surrounding a miracle. Some ministries pick up on whoever is around them. Connecting with the force of faith in a given situation may require you to adjust the proximity of people around you. You need to be with the right people and sometimes the right person is NOBODY, just you and God.

If this applies to the raising of the dead, it probably applies to any area of life where you need to reverse the situation in a supernatural act of faith. Could be a wayward loved one, marriage or business. You are not being mean or lacking faith-–you are being smart.

When Peter was near execution in prison there was a prayer gathering in a house, most likely John’s dwelling. As they prayed in one accord, their faith touched something and Peter broke out. All the church was praying, but one group of close-knit members was the key to the miraculous jail break.

The point? Know that faith can be strengthened by the right people in the room. The bigger the issue, the more selective you need to be about who is with you. Create a climate conducive to faith. And likewise, create a climate conducive to breakthrough with a child, spouse, negotiation, business, healing or miracle.

And if need be, put some people out of the room, out of the house, out of the office—and do business with God.

Oct. 12, 2013–Cut Out and Add On

Day 21On this final day of The Fast, we look at two changes you can make that will help you to experience greater at.one.ment with God, with others and within the Body.

The first change is advocated both by Jesus and by the apostle Paul.

In Matthew 18:15-18, Jesus prescribes a simple process to make amends with anyone who has sinned against you. (You may wish to read the DWOD from March 23 as a refresher)

  1. Meet with them in person. If that doesn’t work,
  2. Take one or two with you. Still not resolved?
  3. Tell it to the whole church. Did not bring about change? If not,
  4. Have nothing to do with them.

Paul applies this specifically to divisive people within the Body: After a first and second admonition, have nothing more to do with anyone who causes divisions, since you know that such a person is perverted and sinful, being self-condemned. (Titus 3:10-11)

Notice how both processes end with a warning to dissociate from those who continue to cause rips in the fabric of unity within the Body.

Yesterday, we heard the admonition to stop sowing judgment ourselves. This word takes it one step further. In addition to stopping the behaviour yourself, stop associating with those who continue to sow those seeds.

This may be as simple as changing the topic when divisive comments are made in a conversation rather than encourage further sowing. It could be as drastic as choosing not to spend time with the persistent perpetrator of judgment. Sorry to say this could result in refraining from coffee and meals with some, resigning from a group/committee or removing someone from your present friendship circle.

Yes, it sounds harsh…but, after exhausting all attempts at correction, you may be left with no other choice but to cut some out. Your friends/family may not approve, but, take heart, Jesus does!

The second change is stated by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:29: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

When our churches went through The 4 C’s Fast, we discovered that it was not just enough to refrain from something negative, it was also necessary to replace it with something positive.

So, we trained ourselves to praise rather than criticize, to forgive than condemn, to give thanks when tempted to complain and compliment when we wanted to compare.

The litmus test is very simple. Does it edify, build up another? If yes, we let it out of our mouths. If it does not edify, we edit it. If it will tear someone down, we re-frame and re-phrase it so that it builds them up instead.

This replacement therapy works wonders! Sulojana and I have almost made a game out of it.

Let’s say that we are driving along and I start to say something that is not edifying of another. In the early days of practising this, she would pipe up: “4 C’s!” That’s all it would take for me to stop mid-sentence and turn it around.

These days, praise God, I catch myself just about every time and promptly apply a gentle slap on my mouth with one hand. That serves to “give my head a shake” and moves me from tearing down to building up in a big hurry!

Please note I am not advocating self-flagellation here, but, editing 4 C’s out of my speech is the single most important change that has helped me grow in my Christian walk over the past two years. Not surprisingly, there has also been a noticeable change in the way God has been using me in ministry.

Could it be because I do not “grieve the Holy Spirit of God” (Ephesians 4:30) with my speech as much as before?

In any event, dear friend, as we conclude this journey, would you also cut out and add on, as prescribed by Jesus and Paul?

May we all continue to experience greater at.one.ment with God, with one another and within the Body all the days of our lives.
